This album was originally released in September 2007 on Citizen Records, as the first half of a double CD set (the second being the compilation “A Remixes Retrospective” also available on this store).

The title is a tribute to “Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy Of The Mass Media”, a 1988 book by Edward S. Herman and Noam Chomsky.

The video for “Reaction” directed by Cyrille de Vignemont won the 2009 ffAT best music video award in Munich.

Track 14 “High Rise” has been nominated for the 5th Qwartz Awards, dancefloor category, in 2009 in Paris.
