High resolution 24 bit reissue of the album “Damaging Consent” released in 2007 on Citizen Records (the first half of a double CD package, the second being the compilation “A Remixes Retrospective” also available on this shop).
The title is a tribute to “Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy Of The Mass Media”, a 1988 book by Edward S. Herman and Noam Chomsky.
Track 14 “High Rise”, originally released in 2004 on my vinyl-only Micronautics label, has been played and listed by some of the greatest techno DJs: Sven Väth, Dave Clarke, Chris Liebing, Fergie, Andrew Weatherall, Michel De Hey, Riton, Jo Jo De Freq… It has been nominated in 2009 for the 5th Qwartz Awards, dancefloor category.
